The Graduate Biosciences Society (GBS) Professional committee recently announced that the annual GBS Alumni Career Panel will be held on Thursday March 31, 2016 from 3:00-4:30 PM in the Claude Moore Medical Education Building, 3rd Floor Auditorium.
This career panel features BIMS alumni who have recently graduated and have established careers in variety of fields, including:
- Translational Cancer Research
- Academic Research
- Research policy
- Biotech research
- Academic Consulting in Industry
- Venture capitalism
The event will consist of a 1.5 hour Q&A discussion with the panelists, followed by a 1-hour informal networking reception, where you can interact with the panelists to gain additional perspectives and advice. Amy Clobes, the Director of Professional Development from the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs, will moderate the event.
