“The start of the new academic year is always an exciting and challenging time! At the resident level it’s a time for growth and new responsibilities. We say goodbye to our graduating chief residents and welcome two new residents fresh out of medical school. This process is often a way to reinvigorate our sense of purpose and re-energize our missions of clinical care, education, research and service based leadership. I have high hopes for this upcoming academic year as our momentum continues to build. My goal is to share my enthusiasm around some of these ongoing efforts with you our faculty, residents, staff, clinical support team, alumni and friends.” – Scott Hollenbeck, MD
