Student Research Fellowships

The Department of Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial and Oral Health offers 1 year research fellowship positions. These positions are available to MS3 students currently enrolled at accredited US Medical Schools looking to expand their research experience during a gap year.

The positions are offered from July 1st – June 30th each year and include both a $25,000.00 annual salary as well as a $5,000.00 stipend for travel. The travel stipend is offered to help the fellow with transportation and lodging costs while representing the department at national meetings.

We provide a comprehensive individual clinical research faculty mentorship for each fellow. Research fellows are integrated into the department and offered opportunities to observe clinical cases as well as participate in our academics through exposure to our weekly residency conferences, microsurgery labs, and anatomy labs.
