Research: In our lab we have interest in areas of wound healing, biomaterials, and regenerative medicine. We currently have several projects related to these areas.

1. Evaluation acellular tissues for various regenerative applications.
2. Utilizing bioprinting technology in regenerative medicine.
3. Improved clinical outcomes of free fat transfers.
4. Mitigating the deleterious dermal effects of therapeutic radiation.
5. Improving wound healing in diabetic patients.
6. Evaluating the inflammatory mechanisms of nicotine exposure.
7. Developing nonsurgical techniques for cartilage recontouring.

Our lab has developed and utilized numerous animal models for these studies and we are often contracted to evaluate products in our areas of interest.
