Research Interests

Mass spectrometry and chemistry for the determination of protein sequence and post-translational modifications. Relative and absolute quantitation of proteins.

Research Description

Mass spectrometry, chromatography and chemistry allow researchers to determine the proteins present in their experiments as well as post-translational modifications of proteins. Increasingly, researchers need to know the amount of proteins present under one set of experimental conditions relative to another set of conditions. With the proper equipment and experimental setup, mass spectrometry can provide this information too.
