BMG is Growing -- Apply Today !

The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics in the School of Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for tenure-track or tenured faculty appointments at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor who address contemporary problems in structural biology and molecular biophysics. The department wishes to expand and complement existing strength in cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). Candidates with expertise in cryo-EM or single molecule technologies are especially encouraged to apply. The department has a strong research focus on human disease, including cancer, and aging but is interested in a wide variety of biological processes. Candidates should be committed to promoting diversity and engaging in collaborative team science.

Review of applications will begin in June/July and campus interviews will take place in the fall.
