The Office of Continuing Medical Education of University of Virginia School of Medicine provides a wide variety of educational and performance/quality improvement opportunities in primary care, medical specialties and interprofessional care that incorporate cutting edge research, faculty expertise to address:

Through our collaborations with the UVA School of Nursing, healthcare systems and professional organizations, we provide community outreach; regional, national and global conferences; telemedicine; web-based and television learning initiatives. We strive to utilize creative and innovative strategies to link lifelong learning with clinical competence and maintenance of certification.
The University of Virginia School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Virginia School of Medicine has been Accredited with Commendation since 1984.
