Biography

Jeanne Young, MD, FAAD, is a general dermatologist providing care for the breadth of general medical dermatology. Her specific clinical interests include complex medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery and meeting the particular dermatologic needs of underserved populations including the LGBT community. She currently serves as Medical Director of the Department of Dermatology.

Dr. Young is originally from Connecticut. She received her BS from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts and practiced as a Physician Assistant for several years before attending medical school at East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine. During her medical training, Dr. Young was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Dean’s Distinguished Student Award. She did her dermatology training at the University of Virginia where she served as chief resident. Dr. Young is certified by the American Board of Dermatology
