Clinical Interest
Dr. Noland has over 15 years of experience in medical dermatology and dermatopathology. She is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex medical dermatologic conditions where histopathology and clinical exam findings, need correlation. She has a special interest in the treatment and prevention of skin cancers in high-risk patients, especially organ transplant recipients and the immunosuppressed population. Additionally, she runs two specialty clinics one focused on valvar dermatoses and the second on Alopecia. Her fellowship training in dermatopathology provides her additional expertise when examining the skin and detecting early skin cancers.
Biography
After graduating as an Echols scholar at the University of Virginia, Dr. Noland received her medical degree from the University of Virginia as well. She then completed her medical internship in New York City at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. Following her intern year, she completed a dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Virginia. She currently serves as the Associate Program Director for the Department of Dermatology and is integrally involved in dermatology medical student education.
