My teaching responsibilities include undergraduate, masters and doctoral courses in my specialty areas of Community/Public Health Nursing, Health Promotion, and Health Behavior Research. In 2003 I was awarded that University of Virginia Outstanding USEM Teaching Award. I am Coordinator of the Community/Public Health Leadership specialty track of the MSN program. I serve as President-Elect of the Association of Community Health Nursing Educators (2002-2004).
