Research Interests
Clinical research in hematologic malignancies, fertility preservation, and quality improvement.
Research Description
Dr. Douvas participates in clinical research primarily through the Hematologic Malignancy Clinical Research program headed by Dr. Michael E. Williams. He is a principal and co-investigator on several clinical trials for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and sarcoma. He is board-certified in Adult Hematology and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and serves as a co-investigator on Children's Oncology Group clinical research protocols as they pertain to the care of young adults with cancer. He also has research projects in symptom management in young adults/adolescents with cancer and in fertility preservation.
