Hospital epidemiology, immunocompromised infectious diseases, molecular pathogenesis and epidemiology, innate immunity
Research Description
Our major research focuses on understanding the molecular epidemiology and clinical consequences of transmission of multidrug resistant organisms (MDROs) in the healthcare environment and interventions to interrupt transmission. We are also particularly interested in the contribution of horizontal gene transfer to the spread of resistance.
