Research Description
Research bridges clinical genetics, genomics, and computational analysis, with a focus on understanding complex genomic variation and translating emerging genomic technologies into diagnostic applications. The work encompasses clinical and genomic studies of rare, complex, and cancer-associated disorders, structural variant discovery and interpretation, and the development and application of long-read and single-cell sequencing technologies. A major goal is to improve the detection, characterization, and clinical interpretation of genomic alterations that are difficult to resolve using conventional diagnostic methods.
