Family Medicine Faculty, Dr. Laura Hoeg and Dr. Dalrymple, and Resident Dr. Buffalo-Ellison Present at Innovation in Education Week Poster and Awards Reception

The UVA SOM Center for Excellence in Education held the 2025 Innovation in Education Week March 3-7. UVA FM faculty and residents were among the presenters at the Innovation in Education Week Poster and Awards Reception. Drs Dalrymple and Buffalo-Ellison presented their poster assessing the effectiveness of the Family Medicine Resident Mentoring Program, and Dr. Laura Hoeg presented her poster on factors limiting prescription of medications for opioid use disorders by Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents and faculty. Dr. Hoeg also was recognized for graduating from the inaugural class of the Center for Excellence in Education’s Scholars Program.
