RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Shah’s research interests include coagulation in liver disease. He is the lead author on this topic in the Up To Date section. This includes blood product usage in liver disease patients, coagulation measures, and the study of hypercoagulability in liver disease. His interests also include liver transplantation and outcomes. He has been involved in viral hepatitis studies and studies regarding hepatic encephalopathy. Finally, he is also involved in medical education research involving technology and active learning modules.
