I am excited and grateful to be a part of the class of 2025 at UVA! I grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and attended the University of Maryland where I majored in Psychology and Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology and Physiology as well as minored in Humanities, Health, and Medicine. After graduating in 2020, I spent a year as an AmeriCorps member working with The Literacy Lab. Through this organization, I was able to work one on one with students in a Title 1 school to improve their literacy skills and work to bring them up to grade level. I am very dedicated to community service and am excited to join the Charlottesville community. As a member of the Generalist Scholars Program here at UVA, I am interested in the primary care field, potentially in pediatrics or family medicine. I hope to continue to be able to educate and integrate the social determinants of health and community factors into my future practice of medicine. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying out new restaurants in Charlottesville, hiking, and exploring new places!
