Hey folks, I’m Sean and I’m part GSP’s 2026 cohort! Originally from Buckhannon, West Virginia, I attended Princeton University to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with certificates in Neuroscience and Global Health. Before earning my degree in 2022, I also gained experience working with nutrition-based public health interventions in Uganda and crafting patient-focused educational materials through internships with Child Family Health International and Rutgers Cancer Institute, respectively.

Beyond academia, I love music and traveling and sing with the Oratorio Society of Virginia here in Charlottesville. I’m also in Pinn College so I look forward to integrating my GSP and primary care experience up at Inova. I plan to pursue a career in, most likely, family medicine or internal medicine, but I’m still deciding! Most importantly, I’m interested in community-engaged care that emphasizes the importance of the intersection of the mind, body, food, and environment.
