My research is aimed towards understanding the role of microtubules, motors and components of membrane domains in clathrin-independent endocytosis (CIE) of growth factor receptors and other cargoes including bacterialtoxins.In addition, I am also involved in studies aimed towards understanding the partitioning of proteins associated with Alzheimer’s disease and receptors for bacterial toxins between raft and non-rafts domains of the plasma membrane.
