Simulation Faculty Development Course

Faculty Development Training In ICU Simulation Room

Through the Simulation Collaborative at the Medical Simulation Center faculty can become Credentialed Faculty by participating in our Faculty Development: Becoming a Simulation Educator course. After a short mentoring period, Credentialed Faculty can independently facilitate simulations with their learners.

Important takeaways reported by learners participating in simulation include, “How to better work with a team, how to come up with a differential, and how to ask questions to elicit a story. The importance of communication in problem solving, better understanding of how to approach coming up with a diagnosis and how to keep trying things when something isn’t working.”

The remaining dates for 2026 are April 28, October 22, and November 11 from 8:00am -2:30pm. Lunch is provided.
