Applications for the 2021 Program

**The application period of 2021 has now closed.**

The Covid-19 Pandemic, unfortunately, poses an ongoing threat to the greater Charlottesville community. Important steps, including required vaccination (with religious and health exemptions), have been taken at UVA Health and the UVA School of Medicine, to protect our clinical and educational spaces. Our current policies require the use of facemasks, regardless of vaccination status, during all instructional time. Participants in the Mini-Medical School program will be required to adhere to our mask policy. There are currently no specific required social distancing stipulations in place, but this may change in the coming weeks to months. Our policies and efforts are designed to help reduce the likelihood of transmission of the COVID-19 virus, but as is true in any other community setting, this risk will not be zero. We ask that our participants join in these efforts, and do what they can to help keep everyone in the program safe. If you have any specific concerns or questions about these policies, please email our Program Coordinator at
