The American Association of Neurological Surgeons has recognized two UVA neurosurgery residents for distinguished contributions to their field of study. Dr. Dale Ding won the Leksell Radiosurgery Award and Dr. Gautam Mehta won the American Brain Tumor Young Investigator Award. Both will present their research at AANS’s annual scientific meeting in New Orleans, held April 28-May 2, 2018.
