The Department of Ophthalmology serves as the ophthalmic referral center for central and western Virginia and for parts of West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Our world class faculty offer Comprehensive Ophthalmology care as well as the following sub-specialties: Cataract, Cornea & Anterior Segment, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, Orbital Surgery & Ocular Oncology, Optometry & Contact Lens, Refractive Surgery, and Vitreo-Retinal Disease & Surgery.
