Maintenance of Certification for Physicians
The Department of Pediatrics, in conjunction with the UVA Children’s Hospital, is an American Board of Pediatrics Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Portfolio Sponsor.
As a portfolio sponsor, the Department can approve MOC Part 4 activities for physicians who meaningfully participated in a quality improvement (QI) project. This reduces the application burden and costs associated for physicians involved in QI projects.
