Elliott Gish is a Research Specialist at UVA’s Division of Perceptual Studies. He holds a PhD in Psychology with a specialization in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Integrative Health from Saybrook University.
During his doctoral studies, Elliott focused his research on various facets of lucid dreaming. He studied the efficacy of different techniques for inducing lucid dreams, in addition to exploring the potential use of lucid dreams for chronic pain relief.
His fascination with lucid dreaming led him to start a nonprofit dedicated to education and research on the topic. He has always been captivated by the nature of consciousness, with a keen interest in using lucid dreams and other altered states to further our understandings of this enigma.
