Kudos to Garrett Mullins, Pharmacology Ph.D. Student in Thurl Harris’s lab, for winning First Place in the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) 2014 Student Poster contest with his Lipolysis suppresses insulin signaling and glucose uptake poster. Note that Garrett was competing against postdoctoral fellows — according to Dr. Harris, there were only a few grad students who entered posters! We’re delighted to celebrate this accomplishment with him — way to go, Garrett!
