Pharmacology Emeriti Professors’s Company, KeViRx, Inc. Awarded $1.99 Million

UVA Pharmacology Emeriti Professors John Lazo and Elizabeth Sharlow, who are co-founders of the pharmaceutical company KeViRx, Inc. have been granted $1.99 million to advance their first-in-class small molecule platform technology, KVX-053, toward IND for pulmonary microvascular leakage and inflammation during acute lung injury (ALI).
