Beenhakker Lab Graduate Student Elzbieta Dulko and Undergraduate Anna Grace Carns recently received the Double Hoo Research Grant for their research on “Challenging the Dogma of Childhood Absence Epilepsy”.
The Double Hoo Research Grant supports pairs of undergraduate and graduate students pursuing research together each year. This program is intended to build collaborative interactions between the undergraduate and graduate communities throughout the university. These collaborations provide opportunities for more advanced research by undergraduates and valuable mentoring experiences for graduate students. Double Hoo undergraduate awardees may be granted up to $5,000 to pursue their objectives, and graduate student collaborators receive up to $1,000.
