Esha Dwibedi, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Community-Based Health Equity, in the Department of Public Health Sciences. Prior to UVA, Dr. Dwibedi was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.
Dr. Dwibedi’s research centers on experimental design, economic modeling, and effectiveness and cost-effectiveness analysis of behavioral interventions aimed at improving preventive healthcare behaviors, such as cancer control and vaccination. In her current role, she is involved in evaluating the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of interventions to increase colorectal cancer screening rates. She also investigates the impact of behavioral strategies on modifiable cancer risk factors, including obesity and diet.
