Research Groups and Labs
The Pulmonary Research Laboratories are located in the Pinn Hall research building with 3600 square foot laboratory space. The laboratory space is fully equipped for advanced microscopy, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, tissue collection and processing, pre-clinical modeling of lung diseases, high-dimensional flow cytometry, mass cytometry, and transcriptional and post-transcriptional analysis. The research space includes shared space for large equipment, cell culture, and immunohistochemical/immunofluorescent staining. We also have a strong collaboration with radiology with facilities at the Center for in-vivo Hyperpolarized Gas MR imaging, located in the Snyder Translational Research Building with 17,000 square foot laboratory at UVA Fountain Research Park.
Institution core information can be found at the Office of Research Core Administration (ORCA)
