Radiology and Medical Imaging Seminar, March 21st
Presenter: Arman Rahmim, PhD, Associate Professor of Radiology and Electrical & Computer Engineering, Johns Hopkins University
In this talk, Dr. Rahmim will overview use of modified image acquisition protocols, image reconstruction and image analysis methods to significantly enhance quantitative accuracy of PET images. The methodology supplements existing methods of generating standard uptake values (SUVs) in semi-quantitative imaging, and enables generation of parametric PET images in research applications and for routine clinical imaging, with improved potentials such as for treatment response assessment.
Venue: Moss Amphitheater, Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging
Date: March 21, 2017
