Every fall, the UVA Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology holds a symposium that provides medical students with an overview of the imaging, anatomy, pathology and treatments pertinent to Interventional Radiology (IR). Participants will learn about minimally-invasive, image-guided procedures through didactic lectures and hands-on simulations.
The 2022 IR Symposium was held on Saturday, October 22 from 8:30am – 3:00pm, in Pinn Hall at the UVA Health Medical Center. This was a free event and breakfast and lunch were provided.
Medical students of any year who are interested in IR are invited to attend—undergraduate students are also welcome.
