The American College of Radiology (ACR)’s Imaging 3.0 initiative is working to ensure that radiologists play a key role in evolving health care delivery and and payment models. It provides radiologists with a roadmap to transition from volume-based to value-based imaging care by giving them tools and processes for practice management and patient care.
As part of this initiative, Imaging 3.0 compiles case studies to spotlight radiologists who are partnering with patients, medical professionals and other clinicians to transition from focusing on the volume of scans to the value of care provided. In their Changemakers series, Imaging 3.0 spotlights ACR members who “personify the principles of Imaging 3.0–including innovation, patient-centeredness, empathy, authenticity, and inclusivity.”
Dr. Arun Krishnaraj, Associate Professor of Radiology and Medical Imaging, Division Director of Body Imaging and Vice Chair of Quality and Safety, was recently featured in the Changemakers series in a profile titled “Reimagining Patient-Centered Care.”
