The UVA Department of Surgery held its 24th Annual Resident Research Day on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Pinn Hall Auditorium and Conference Center. The full-day event featured oral and poster presentations from residents and trainees, highlighting cutting-edge surgical research across oncology, cardiac care, and medical education.
Dr. Timothy Pritts, MD, PhD, from the University of Cincinnati delivered the keynote lecture, bringing national expertise to the academic celebration. The event concluded with a celebratory dinner at Boar’s Head Resort, honoring the dedication and accomplishments of UVA’s next generation of surgical leaders.
