The University of Virginia Department of Surgery is organized into eight nationally recognized divisions, each dedicated to excellence in patient care, research, education, and innovation. Together, our faculty provide comprehensive surgical care across the full spectrum of surgical disease while advancing scientific discovery and improving the health of the communities we serve.
