Kent-Guo Lab

The Guo lab research focuses on targeting epigenetic mechanisms to counter aberrant cell behaviors in pathological processes. Together with collaborators, we are also pursuing innovative ways to deliver therapeutic agents in preclinical models to treat vascular diseases ranging from stenosis to aneurysm. Main research topics: Epigenetic readers, cell state transitions, neointimal hyperplasia, retinal degeneration and protection, sigma receptors, precision delivery with nanoplatforms.
