April, 2026
Qiwei will serve as a speaker at the 13th Southeastern Immunology Symposium (SIS), June 2 – 5, 2026, at Asheville, NC. His talk is titled “Targeting Tumor–TAM Interactions to Enhance STING-Mediated Antitumor Immunity in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.”

Hannah and Dhillon are graduating from UVA and moving on to exciting next chapters! Hannah will join Dr. Tara Barron’s lab at UT Southwestern as a research technician, and Dhillon will begin his MD studies at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
We are incredibly fortunate to have had them in the lab over the past two years and are so proud of everything they have accomplished. They will be deeply missed, but we cannot wait to hear about all the great things ahead. Congratulations, Hannah and Dhillon — way to go!

Sophie has passed her qualifying exam and is now an official PhD candidate — a great achievement and an exciting milestone for our lab! Congratulations, Sophie!

We celebrated and bid farewell at Public Fish & Oyster.
