Faculty Members Present at ASBH

In October, several faculty members presented at the 21st Annual Conference of The American Society for Bioethics and Humanities in Pittsburgh, PA. On October 26, Donna Chen, pictured here, presented “What Medical Students Teach: The Healing Skill of Being a Team Player,”co-authored with Lois Shepherd.  Other faculty associated with the Center presented the following:

  • Julia Taylor, “Intentional Choice Architecture in the Care of Adolescents with Eating Disorders: Moving Forward with an Ethical Framework”
  • David Lapides (with Mary Faith Marshall and Lois Shepherd, co-authors), “Disorders of Consciousness: How Much Does Consciousness Matter?”
