Medical Student Blogging and Social Networks
An increasing number of medical students and other health professionals have joined communities on the internet, through blogging and other forms of social networking. In 2009, a small group of Center faculty and several fourth-year medical students, as part of an elective assignment, studied the issue. Center faculty developed a Tip Sheet for students, and the medical students wrote a report about various aspects of the issue. We reproduce here these two documents, which we hope may be of help to students and others engaged in writing about their medical school experiences.
