Health Care Ethics Consultation:
Practice-Based Intensive Training
This intensive 4-day training program is an exciting new offering designed for practicing health care professionals who wish to develop their ethics consultation knowledge and skills. The training will emphasize key elements of the Core Competencies for Healthcare Ethics Consultation promulgated by the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.
FORMAT: This interactive training program will combine didactic sessions with hands-on exercises and thought- provoking dialogue. Participants will have many opportunities to engage directly with program faculty. The number of participants will be strictly limited to ensure a personalized learning environment. Participants will also have options to eat meals together and with faculty, allowing for informal dialogue and networking.
PREREQUISITES: Participants will be expected to read Core Competencies for Health Ethics Consultation prior to the training (available at www.asbh.org.)
REGISTRATION: The cost is $2,000
