On June 27, 2024, BMG hosted a retirement party for Dr. David Auble who joined UVA as a faculty member in BMG in 1996. David has been an exceptional colleague, mentor and interim chair. He served BMG and the larger UVA community with his outstanding scholarship, sense of fairness and humility. He addressed wellbeing before it became popular and was a source of tremendous support during the pandemic. We are enormously grateful to David for his countless contributions and glad that he will keep his ties to BMG as professor emeritus. Happy retirement, David!
