Cancer Therapeutics (CRX) Program Pilot Project Awards

CRXThe CRX Program of the UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center supports preclinical science and validation of therapeutic targets leading to investigator-initiated clinical trials for cancer diagnosis, imaging, therapy, and survivorship.  The CRX Program provides pilot funds to support new collaborative projects and creative pilot studies in translation cancer-related research that will lead to successful interdisciplinary team science or that will provide preliminary data to advance interdisciplinary team projects.  An important goal of the CRX program is to deliver UVACCC discoveries from all programs to our patients and improve outcomes.

Award:  Up to $50,000 (direct costs only) for 1 year.

Eligibility: This award is open to UVA faculty. Team applications are encouraged and must include at least one CRX member.

Deadline: Closed (RFA to be released each February).
