Research Description
Dr. Ragosta is the principal or co-principal investigator on numerous multi-center clinical trials, including the EXCEL trial (left main PCI VS CAB6) and both the PARTNER trail (trans-catheter aortic valve replacement) and the REALISM trial (mitral EVALVE). He is actively involved in several UVa based trials and research projects involving novel biomarkers for atherosclerosis, outcomes in patients undergoing evaluation for liver and renal transplantation, and coronary physiology.
