Vascular Medicine Teaching Staff

During the one-year fellowship, trainees will have the opportunity to work with numerous staff members in the care of patients of vascular diseases. Depending on the rotation, each fellow will be assigned to work with different staff members. The specific roles, teaching/educational activities, and supervisory settings in which each teaching physicians will supervise and work with Vascular Medicine fellows throughout the year are detailed below:

Staff are actively involved in hospital rounds with fellows; in establishing an atmosphere conducive to teaching and learning both in conference rooms and clinical care; in teaching and supervising fellows during outpatient clinics and Vascular Laboratory; in supervising fellows with data acquisition and interpretation; in supervising fellows with presentation and/or writing skills of a research abstract, as well as providing guidance and assistance with submission to a scientific meeting; and in fostering the development of clinical research ideas.
