RESEARCH SUMMARY

Dr. Bergin’s research interests include several collaborative projects with Electrophysiology (resynchronization pacing sites [ECG and MRI guided]), Structural Cardiology (REDUCE-LAP [left atrial shunting], Cardioband [tricuspid valve], Cor-Cinch-HF, Pascal [mitral regurgitation]), Surgery (COMPETENCE [EvaHeart VAD]), Surgery + Interventional Cardiology (DRAIN-HF [management of AKI with heart failure]), Biomedical Engineering (PRIME [exercise for HFrEF]), and SOCIAL HF (evaluation of transplant allocation).
