RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Soukoulis’ research interests primarily focus on medical education. He explores the nature of the cardiology training environment and how to improve it for future trainees. He is also interested in studying how self-assessment, a poorly understood but critical skill, plays a role in medical education. He is involved in multiple endeavors to improve teaching and feedback within cardiology across multiple levels of learners. He also participates in clinical trials related to imaging and valvular heart disease.
