[Garrett Hall] In Virginia, as in many other states, health disparities exist among racial, ethnic, socioeconomic and geographic groups. The burden of illness, disability and premature death disproportionately affects certain populations, with some groups enjoying better health and access to healthcare services than others.

What factors account for health disparities in Virginia, and what solutions might help mitigate them? This panel brings together experts to discuss the ethical, legal, medical and social implications of health inequities – past, present and future.
