Iqra is a Cancer Education Project Manager within the Cancer Center’s Community Outreach and Engagement team. Prior to joining UVA, Iqra managed a CDC-funded National Network at CADCA which focused on reducing tobacco- and cancer-related geographic health disparities and promoting health equity. She earned her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Promotion from George Mason University and her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University. In her spare time, Iqra enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and baking.
