Recognition, pathogenesis, impact, and control of enteric infections.
Dr. Warren's research interests are on the pathogenesis, impact and management of enteric infections. Specifically, she is focused on the development of alternative pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions for Clostridium difficile infection and cryptosporidiosis. Development of in vitro and in vivo models of enteric infections and understanding host immune response to infection are complementary components of her interventional studies.
