Donations and Gifts

The Claude Moore Medical Education Building provides new technologies and flexible teaching spaces to support innovative medical instruction, including learner-centered training for medical students, residents, and pre-hospital providers.  The facility will include specialized multimedia classrooms, video-equipped exam rooms for analyzing student-patient interactions, and a state-of-the-art Medical Simulation Center.  In 2003, the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation donated a challenge gift of $12.5 million to facility construction, along with $3 million from the School of Medicine.
