Neurodegenerative Disease Research Coalition

The Neurodegenerative Disease Research Coalition (NDRC) brings together UVA researchers who are carrying out impactful fundamental and translational research on neurodegenerative diseases. The coalition includes those with expertise in Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Huntington’s disease (HD), multiple sclerosis (MS), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) to expand our understanding of the causes and progression of these complex diseases.

Our goal is to improve patient outcomes by developing novel diagnostics and safe and effective therapeutics for these devastating neurodegenerative diseases.
